It’s nearing the holiday season here in the US. You know what that means: awkward office parties! How you get invited to these parties often sets the tone for what you should expect. Email invitation for a kickin’ party in the main conference room at 3:30pm on Friday? Sounds like you should expect store-brand eggnog and conversations about everyone’s favorite Excel macro. Receive a printed party invitation at your home advertising a formal affair at the rooftop bar of the coolest place in town? Okay, the tone is set for a legit party and you’ll plan accordingly. When we chose keynote speakers for deliver:Agile 2019, we wanted to set the right tone for the event.
To that end, I’m pleased to share that Jessica Kerr and Donovan Brown are the keynote speakers for 2019’s program. Jessica (@jessitron) is a talented software developer who works for hot startup Atomist. A modern technologist, she’s not easily categorized. Jessica codes a lot in TypeScript. She’s got architecture and automation chops. She also studies and talks about high performing teams, and developer productivity. Jessica is a thought-provoking speaker, and we’re excited for her to kick off the program and set the tone for the conference.
“DevOps is what I do,” says Donovan Brown. Donovan (@DonovanBrown) is an engaging expert on modern software delivery, and spends his days working at Microsoft on their Cloud Developer Advocacy team. He cares deeply about developer tooling and understands how tools combine with people and processes to make customer-centric software a reality. Donovan has witnessed some big software transformations, and I can’t wait to hear him tell his story.
These speakers are indicative of what you should expect at deliver:Agile 2019 — engaging technology experts who don’t just explain what technology does, but also why it matters. We’re finalizing the remainder of the program now, and you’ll be blown away by the quality of speakers, and breadth of topics. Register to attend and join in.
